Bella M. Trowbridge
President / CEO
Bella Trowbridge is the owner and CEO of The Closers of Virginia, Inc. She earned her Degree in Business Management from Strayer University. She retired from the United States Army as a Master Sargeant working as a Chief Legal NCO. She subsequently worked in The Law Firm of Stuart Atkinson where she learned the ropes of the title insurance industry. She started the Closers of Virginia, Inc. in 2008 with an emphasis on customer service. As CEO/President, Bella is actively involved in the management and growth of the company.
Bella is married, has four children and nine grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs on the James River.

Starlett Shannon
Office Management
Starlette Shannon manages the operations as well as administrative and facilities resources. She has worked for The Closers for over 13 years. She has over 16 years in Sales and Customer Service and is responsible for office operations and organization.

Kim Creech
Operations Management
Kim Creech is our Closing Department Manager and boasts a resume spanning almost 25 years. While working as a processor and closer, she brings years of experience and expertise to the table, keeping things running smoothly, handling each task with skill and dedication. Her work ethic and positivity make her an invaluable part of the team! But what truly sets Kim apart is her warm and welcoming personality—she has a way of making everyone feel like they’ve known her forever!
Kim is born and raised in Hampton Roads and loves that our area has so much history! Sometimes, you can find her looking up old newspaper articles and ancestry information on a home built in the 1800’s, just so she can tell her buyer, all about their home’s past. Married with one son, she enjoys mountain bike riding, building legos with the family and kicking back, enjoying time at home. She will never say NO to a trip to the beach for some fun in the sun though.

Kathrine Gray
Financial Management
Kate has more than 30 years in sales and the finance industry, with a BS in Business Management from Averett University. She is an outstanding senior escrow officer recognized for her extensive knowledge and professional expertise. Kate joined the Closers of Virginia in January 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks with her fun-loving retriever pups (Gunner and Ella), traveling and relaxing on the beach with a good book.

Mike Trowbridge
Titles
Mike is an experienced Title Examiner with over 20 years of experience in researching property titles, real estate records and ensuring the legal transfer of property ownership. Mike retired from the Air Force with over 26 years of service.
Mike is married, has four children and nine grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs on the James River.
